Who is Hannah Stranders?

The Jewish Hannah Stranders (1935-2015) survived the Second World War, partly because of the courage of two Christian students.

They took her, as a 7-year-old girl – armed with her Children’s Bible –

in 1942, with the train from Amsterdam to the farm of the hospitable , Christian family Rosier in Meddo, near Winterswijk (eastern border).

Her parents barely managed to flee to Switzerland. After the war Hannah followed the gymnasium and subsequently worked as a guide in Amsterdam and surroundings.

In this way, Hannah, perhaps without realizing it herself, was prepared for her later task, now as a guide, to show people the way to our Savior,

Jesus Christ.

When the Yom Kippur war broke out in 1973, she took part in meetings where the Dutch were motivated to show solidarity with Israel.

At this time she discovered that many members of the Church hardly knew anything about the many biblical promises regarding the return of the Jewish people to their own land of Israel and the restoration of the land of Israel. And that did they not know that this return – after 2,000 years of exile over the whole earth – is an extremely important sign of the expected second Coming of the Lord Jesus, as foretold in the Biblical Prophetic Scriptures;

a fact, which unfortunately is concealed in many church teachings and by many church leaders.

During these meetings, however, Hannah also noticed that many people lacked certainty about their salvation. This experience resulted in organizing:

‍

“Shofar-Israel-evenings”

Hannah did not want to compromise on all kinds of ecclesiastical teachings. She decided to let the Bible speak only: “The Word of God entirely, and the Word of God alone.”

The Bible is the Unique, True Word of God, the Creator of heaven and of earth.

Unique because of:

  • The Prophetic nature of the Bible. God says what He does, and sooner or later, in God’s time,

‍      all of God’s revelations are actually fulfilled, as it is written in His Word, certainly also that of

‍      the near future.

  • The important place in God’s Plan of Salvation for the Jewish people and their land Israel.

‍     Much has been fulfilled already, móre will soon be fulfilled.

  • The related second Coming of Jesus Christ will be soon. He will establish His visible Kingdom in Zion (Jerusalem), as foretold by the prophets and apostles of Old and New Testament.

  • The warning that we are on the threshold of a rapidly approaching global crisis, which cannot be reversed, profound changes in this world and in this society.

‍     All that can be found in the Biblical prophecies.

  • The need for everyone to repent to the God of the Bible:

What is repentance, what is rebirth?

How do I partake in the Redemption through the Jesus Christ, Messiah Yeshua?

If we want to understand the Plan of Salvation of God, then we must know the Bible!

Hannah’s lectures on God’s Plan of Salvation have, in the course of the years, led many hearers to take up the Bible themselves to compare Scripture with Scripture and to pay attention to the signs of this age.

Many came to discover that the Bible is not just a book with a description of events from a distant past, but that the Word of God also very clearly speaks Prophetically about the present and the near future.

Friends of Shofar have posted Hannah’s lecture on video and made it accessible to everyone on the website, together with some other Shofar publications.

Employees of the Translation Institute Trans Vision in Harderwijk (Netherlands) have ensured that the lecture can be followed excellently in an English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese caption. Volunteers helped with the translation of the leaflets and flyers.

The recordings are technically not of high quality. But the way in which Hannah Stranders explains everything is clear and to the point and in simple terms she explains the main lines of God’s Plan of Salvation as it is. And that’s important!

The Word of God does not age and does not change. The Word of God does not have to be modernized and certainly not adapted to the spirit of this age; on the contrary (!):

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
